40 years ago, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy (D-NY) was shot at point blank range by Sirhan Sirhan moments after he had addressed his presidential campaign supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, CA on June 5, 1968. Robert Kennedy died early morning June 6, at the age of 42.
